Industry experienced educators will teach you how to prepare patients for treatment, assist dentists during treatment, process radiographs, perform infection control procedures, maintain patient records, and other general administrative duties.
Course material covers all elements of dental care, pharmacology, oral pathology, and dental radiography.
Dental Assistant Training
Gain on-the-job experience through practicum placements with a practicing dentist and be ready to compete for great jobs in the dental industry.After successfully completing your Dental Assistant training, you can seek employment in dental offices, dental laboratories, or dental distribution/manufacturing companies.
Dental Assistant Examination and Licensure
Graduates who successfully complete the Intra Oral Dental Assistant program are eligible to write the National Level II Certification exam offered by the National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB).Passing the exam will make you eligible to register as a Licenced Dental Assistant with the Manitoba Dental Association.
